Holiday Help

Need a little help during the holiday season? Colton Residents with children can apply for a holiday gift card to help during the holiday season. This program is completely funded through donations from the community. To donate, contact Katelyn Rodriguez at 909-370-5524 or email

Gift cards are distributed if applications are approved, and while supplies last. All applications are first-come, first-serve basis.

Application Process

  • Deadline to make an appointment is December 10, 2021. To schedule your appointment, contact Carina Villalpando at 909-370-5087. Residents are encouraged to leave a detailed voicemail with their full name and best contact number as calls are returned in the order they are received. 
  • Applications can be picked up from or submitted online here:
    • Gonzales Community Center
    • Colton City Hall
    • Colton Public Library
    • Luque Community Center (by appointment only)
  • Applications must be complete and include the following documentation (incomplete documentation will NOT be accepted): 
    • Proof of Residency (current utility bill, or rent/mortgage statement)
    • Photo Identification (Driver's License, State ID Card, or Green Card)
    • Proof of Children in home (medical card, birth certificate, or school ID Card)
    • Proof of eligibility (two months' worth of income)
  • Applications will only be accepted at the designated times and locations listed on the application.
