Embracing a Bright Future

Month of Transformation: We recognize the challenges that the month-long closure has caused for those with loved ones resting at Hermosa. During this period, we've been diligently working to create a plan that ensures our beloved cemetery continues to be a place of enduring beauty, serenity, and historical significance. Short-term improvements include freshly paved streets, office renovations, new flooring in the chapel, tree trimming, gate repair, and irrigation enhancements.

Dedicated Team, Plan for Improvement: Our dedicated team has initiated a comprehensive long-term plan to enhance every facet of the cemetery, from office spaces to lawn care and customer service.

Elevating the Environment: We believe in preserving the serene ambiance and historical value of Hermosa Gardens. The ongoing transformation will ensure that the cemetery remains a tranquil haven for reflection and remembrance.

Visitor Guidelines: To guarantee a safe, peaceful, and harmonious experience for all, we kindly ask all visitors to adhere to our NEW Flower & Decorating Policy and Code of Conduct. These policies are designed to enhance the overall experience by making the space more efficient to maintain, will be clearly posted at the entrance and available at the information booth.

Dia De Los Muertos Community Altar: Join us in honoring and remembering those who have passed by participating in the Community Altar from November 1 to November 5. For more details, please refer to the City's website (coltonca.gov) or the Colton Community Services Facebook page.

A Heartfelt Thank You: We extend our deepest appreciation for your support and patience during this closure and the transition forward. The City of Colton remains steadfast in its commitment to the long-term improvement and care of Hermosa Gardens Cemetery. Rest assured, the best is yet to come.
